Off-Grid Solar System and Battery Storage

The Solar Power System runs the entire lodge including laundry area, water purification system and staff area. The system comprises of the below: –

• 20.825 kWp of Photovoltaic panels
• 276.36 kWh of battery storage
• 1 x 15kVA/48V inverter/chargers for the mess and kitchen
• 1 x 10kVA/48V and 2 x 5kVA/48V inverter/chargers for the guest rooms, guides and staff quarters
• 3 x 5kVA/48V inverter/chargers for water purification system

The system is also remotely monitored using Victron Color Control GX

Solar Water Pumping

• 1 x LORENTZ PSK2-9 C-SJ8-44 Solar Submersible Pump system.
• 1 x LORENTZ PS2-1800 CS-37-1 Solar Pool Pump system.

The pumps are also connected to LORENTZ SmartPSUK with SmartStart and LORENTZ Power Pack 2000 respectively which make the systems hybrid – they automatically connect to the generator to supplement water pumping and circulation during cloudy days. The submersible pump serves the entire lodge, staff and guides quarters with more than 120,000 litres of water per day and 1 x 50 m³ swimming pool.

Water Purification

Supplied and installed 5000 litres per hour water purification reverse osmosis system

Security & Surveillance

Secured the whole lodge with indoor, outdoor and wireless cameras

Telecommunication

We have installed internet services using fiber net connectivity with VOIP, Data and internet in ALL the rooms and departments within the lodge.
